Duke, Actually by Jenny Holiday is $1.99! This is a holiday romance and the second book in the Christmas in Eldovia series. I remember Elyse reading it and commenting in Slack that she was enjoying it. I, sadly, don’t do holiday romances. What about you?
The Duke Buys a Bride by Sophie Jordan is $1.99! This is book three in The Rogue Files series. The shortcoming in this book seems to be the hero, whose redemption arc and groveling don’t seem to meet expectations. However, others loved the heroine’s tenacity and persistence in the face of some awful things.
American Royalty by Tracey Livesay is $2.99! This is a contemporary romance with a royal hero and famous singer heroine. I personally love the cover, but I know on Cover Awe, some felt it had “uncanny valley” vibes.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED: An Extraordinary Union by Alyssa Cole is $1.99 and a Kindle Daily Deal! Sarah completely loved it:
First, yes, you should absolutely read this book immediately, if you haven’t already. There is so much happening in the conflict within each of the protagonists, between the protagonists, and around them and their allies and enemies, I can’t possibly discuss all of it, but please know: if you are a reader (and why else would you be here, right?) this book is a marvelous, intelligent, respectful, breathtaking treat for your brain.
I Hate You More by Lucy Gilmore is $1.99! This is an enemies to lovers romance and has some pretty good dogs. I know Gilmore’s books have been recommended in the comments previously and the Bitchery generally has positive thoughts.

In a Holidaze by Christina Lauren is $1.99! This is part of today’s Kindle Daily Deals. This is a holiday romance with a twist, a la Groundhog Day. I’m a huge CLo fan and they’re the only ones I’m willing to break my “no holiday romance” rule for. Have you read this one?
The Queen’s Bargain by Anne Bishop is $1.99! This book was mentioned in a previous Hide Your Wallet and is part of the Black Jewels series. I didn’t keep up with the series as a whole, so I’m unsure how this fits in. I think it focuses on secondary characters now, but correct me I’m wrong?

I love a good yarn (in all senses of the word) and this book delivers a belter. This is an historical romance that feels fresh, vibrant and made me sing the Good Book Noise.
The Duke Effect by Sophie Jordan is $2.99! This is book seven in The Rogue Files series. Elyse mentioned this on October 2020’s Hide Your Wallet and said that while this series has been hit or miss, she’s been waiting for this heroine’s book for quite some time.
