RECOMMENDED: Song of Blood & Stone by L. Penelope is $1.99! This is the first book in the Earthsinger Chronicles and is an amazing fantasy romance. Penelope’s writing is so underrated, in my opinion. I also recommend her podcast episode with Sarah; Penelope has her own podcast as well: My Imaginary Friends.
Slightly Married by Mary Balogh is $2.99! This is the first book in the Bedwyn Saga, which is a favorite amongst romance readers. Though Balogh’s newer historicals haven’t really worked for me, I’m curious about this one. Have you read it?
The Proposal by Mary Balogh is $2.99! This is the first book in her Survivor’s Club series, which is a favorite amongst the Bitchery. Readers loved the hero, Hugo, but I will admit I’ve never read a Balogh that I wasn’t “meh” about. Balogh fans, what do you love about her books?
We have a whole new batch of new releases to discuss. And by “batch,” I mean over forty! We also have two books with the same title released this month, which I thought was kind of neat. I think we’ve name-checked all the big releases; I couldn’t think of anything we left off. If we did, please chime in below. What November books are on your to-read list?

Hasn’t it been ages since we discussed new releases? I feel like it has. Time either moves too quickly or at a glacial pace in the reading world. Down below are a ton of awesome upcoming books and I think we covered most of the big releases. However, there is one that many of you are anticipating that didn’t make our personal picks: The Wedding Party by Jasmine Guillory has all sorts of enemies-to-lovers vibes. Don’t forget to … Continue reading July’s New Releases→
RECOMMENDED: Someone to Wed by Mary Balogh is $1.99! To say Elyse loved this book is an understatement. She gave it an A:
It was emotionally rich, with a deeply engaging, slow-building romance centered around a conflict that didn’t ruin me. There’s sadness there, but not darkness.
If you love slow-burn romance or just a really beautifully written Regency, pick up Someone to Wed. You won’t be disappointed.

RECOMMENDED: A Week to Be Wicked by Tessa Dare is $1.99! This is the second book in the Spindle Cove series and Carrie gave this book an A-:
If you are also a person who perks up at the sound of the word “Tessellation” or who longs to travel through Britain with a viscount and a dinosaur foot, then check this book out right away.
It’s the first of the month, which means it’s the perfect time to discuss upcoming book releases! Below are a few titles we at SBTB HQ are excited to see, but here are some more books that might be on your release list: Julia Quinn has a new book out: The Other Miss Bridgerton . Stephanie Plum is still going in Look Alive Twenty-Five . Diamond Fire by Ilona Andrews is a novella in The Hidden Legacy series that is … Continue reading November’s New Releases→
Indiscreet by Mary Balogh is $2.99! This is the first book in the Horseman Trilogy. The third book in the trilogy, Irresistible, is on sale for $1.99! Readers call this a “fluffy Regency” and found the romance to be pretty darn sweet. However, some found the romance a bit slow going at times. This is also a rerelease, as the original book was published in 1997.
