A Very Merry Bromance is the fifth book in the Bromance Book Club series, and while it can be read as a standalone, the sheer number of characters from other books can be distracting. The Bromance Book Club by Lyssa Kay Adams is $1.99! This is a contemporary romance and the first in a series. Aarya gave this one a C+ and would recommend it with reservations:
The writing is polished, the grovel is so satisfying (I love desperate heroes at their wits’ end), and Thea has my permission to rule the world for eternity. Adams’s voice is magnetic; my eyes were glued on the page because the dialogue flowed seamlessly. Time stood still, and I was shocked to discover that four hours had whirled past after setting it down.
Wolf Rain by Nalini Singh is $2.99! This is part of Psy-Changeling Trinity series and is book three. Aarya wrote a guest post way back when about how much she was anticipating this one. I’m pretty sure it’s best to read these in order, but definitely sound off in the comments.
A Heart of Blood and Ashes by Milla Vane is $1.99! Romancelandia went nuts for this fantasy romance, though I will warn the environment and world is pretty bleak at times. We also had a great guest review for this one by Crystal Anne with an E. What do you think of the series?
Writing Her In by Holley Trent is 99c! This is the first book in Trent’s Plot Twist series, which focuses on poly and triad romances with at least one character (sometimes more) involved in the book industry. It’s been recommend in the comments of Whatcha Reading before. Have you read it?
PODCAST RECOMMENDED: A Lady’s Code of Misconduct by Meredith Duran is $1.99! This historical romance was recommended on a podcast episode with Sarah, Elyse, and Karen of the Knit One, Geek Two podcast. Karen mentioned that she’s a sucker for amnesia stories and this one has an amnesiac hero. Have you read this one
Crazy Stupid Bromance by Lyssa Kay Adams is $1.99! This is the third book in the Bromance Book Club contemporary romance series. Totally on board with the cat cafe named Toebeans. However, I feel like these books have been hit or miss. Thoughts?
Undercover Bromance by Lyssa Kay Adams is $2.99! A lot of the Bitchery has enjoyed this series about heroes creating a romance book club. It also inspired an actual romance book club for men. Catherine gave this one a D and warns that this may not be the fluffy read you want right now.
