With fewer and fewer historical romances being traditionally published, I’m finding it harder to find arcs of books that scratch that itch for me and I’ve pretty much exhausted my small town library’s supply of historical romance. Where I was going wrong was letting myself be intimidated by the self-pubbed and indie-pubbed world. It seemed vast to me and I had no idea where to start. Who could I trust to deliver the kinds of … Continue reading Going Hunting: Self-Published and Indie-Pubbed Historical Romance →
Welcome back, everyone! I tried very hard to not have this be all nonfiction and was able to go half and half this time. Yay! For fiction, we have a historical romance and a fantasy novella. For nonfiction, I’m recommending books on history and pop culture. Have any books you want to recommend? Let us know in the comments!
Are we ready to look at some interesting covers?! Cover design by Samira Iravani Cover photography by Lee Avison/Trevillon Images Sarah: GORGEOUS. Vengeance, and that cover, are both sweet. The Duke Who Knew Too Much by Grace Callaway is 99c at Amazon! Elyse read this one and, for the most part, enjoyed it. She gave it a B:
Readers looking for a good historical mystery/romance or a historical with a little more kink will enjoy The Duke Who Knew Too Much. This is also the first book in a series–I know many of your credit cards just winced a little.

The Duke Who Knew Too Much blends Regency romance, mystery and kink–a formula that I expect will intrigue a lot of readers (especially those looking for more erotic historicals). There are a lot of things going on in this book–a lot– but the author weaves them all together well. The only thing that really irked me was the hero’s insistence that he’s incapable of feels, mostly because I’m sick of emotionally constipated dukes. Anyway, the … Continue reading The Duke Who Knew Too Much by Grace Callaway →
Burning Bright by Megan Hart, KK Hendin, Stacey Agdern, and Jennifer Gracen is 99c! This is a Hanukkah romance anthology with a foreword by our very own Sarah! A lot of readers found it refreshing to finally have an anthology celebrating Hanukkah. However, some readers thought the collection was imbalanced.
