This book succeeds in that it gives an irresistible couple in sweet, goofy Rob and grumpy Marian. I adored this couple for their ability to think outside the box, their easy and complete acceptance of each other, and their banter.

If you’re looking for a Victorian historical with a heroine who is brave despite herself, in a book that won’t rip your heart out or drag you through rivers of angst and misery, then I think you’ll enjoy this romance.
Wilde in Love by Eloisa James is $1.99 and a KDD! This is the first book in The Wildes of Lindow Castle. Some readers DNF-ed this on Goodreads citing lack of chemistry between the characters or boredom. Several other James romances are also in today’s daily deals.

A Tempest of Desire by Lorraine Heath is $1.99! This released last December and we’ve heard good things about the crazysauce plot. Did any of you pick this one up?
Wild and Wrangled by Lyla Sage is $2.99! This is book four, which is the latest installment in the Rebel Blue Ranch series. It released in April, so it’s a pretty new release.
Remember Me by May Balogh is $1.99! This is book two in the Ravenswood series and it came out summer 2023. I don’t remember hearing much about this one, but I know Balogh is an auto-buy author.
The True Love Experiment by Christina Lauren is $2.99! I feel like CLo books don’t go on sale as often as other author’s titles, so snap this one up while you can.
Under the Whispering Door by TJ Klune is $2.99! This is a Kindle Daily Deal and is good for one day only. One of my friends named this their best of 2021 book. What’d you think of this one?
The Road Trip by Beth O’Leary is $1.99! This is a contemporary romance where a woman inadvertently goes on a road trip with her ex to a mutual friend’s wedding. For the most part, O’Leary’s books are well reviewed or at least spark some conversation.
