Eclipse the Moon by Jessie Mihalik is $1.99! This is book two in the Starlight’s Shadow series. I remember reading this one, though found it heavier on action that romance.

The last few times I’ve seen a James title featured, I’ve thought to myself, “Oh, I read that one,” only to discover that it’s a fairly new release and I didn’t. All her blurbs have sounded the same since at least her Wilde series (which, I confess, I gave up on early). I wonder if that’s related to why we don’t hear much about her new releases.

Like Star said, I also gave up on James’ Wildes series – I recently read 2 of her newer releases in the Accidental Brides series, one of which was cute (Viscount in Love) and the other was fine-to-“eh, shrug emoji” (Hardly a Gentleman). I’ll probably check this one out on Libby but I don’t think I’ll buy it without reading it first.
Amazon UK and Kobo UK readers, Daniel O’Malley’s ROYAL GAMBIT is GBP.99 today. This is the fourth in his Checquy Files series. The audio edition of the third book, BLITZ, may be my favorite, but I am a big fan of all of them.
I see no evidence of “Bespeckled and freckled” on the cover of the James book!
I went and bought a LOT of Lorraine Heath in physical form late last year. Like, about five of her series. Haven’t read any of them yet, because I’m saving them for after I get more of my TBR pile read. (Or, if I might need them as ‘Break Glass In Case of Emergency’ books.)
Though I’m still on the fence about getting A Tempest of Desire.
