Hello, everyone! How are we all? Recovering from all the delicious food? Lamenting the loss of the long weekend?
I had my latest Covid shot and wow did it do a number on me. Glad I got it, but this has been the worst for me in terms of side effects.
My partner and I made some yummy sides. My favorite were some hot honey diced carrots. I could eat a whole bowl by myself. We also got a Christmas tree this weekend and Toast is obsessed. Linus, of course, remains unbothered.

Y’all, the National Dog Show is 20 minutes from me each year (the weekend before Thanksgiving), and it’s benched, so you can meet the dogs. It. Is. Heaven. I think we might need a Smart Bitches meetup there next year!
Hot honey diced carrots sound delicious. Added to the grocery list, thanks.

Comet, the shih tzu, was robbed. I know this because my MIL owns Comet’s adorable tiny cousin who has the same burnt-caramel streaks in her fabulous hair*, and MIL’s passionate commentary on the crime committed against Comet by the judges definitely livened up Thanksgiving.
*not usually a small dog fan, but this dog has SO much personality and charm packed into all that hair
