I’ve been trying to remember this book for 5 years. Any and all help would be so wonderful!
The book was a contemporary romance taking place on or near a military base in Colorado (Colorado Springs I think). It was a cubicle romance between a military man (Air Force, I think) and a sassy woman (civilian I believe) with trust issues.
The heroine is very smart and has a quick wit–often making pop culture or political references. I want to say that at one point she even got a poster of Che Guevara (or some such Marxist) for her cubicle as a joke. The heroine and the leading man have a very Elizabeth Bennet and Mr. Darcy relationship.
I think I read it around the early 2000s.
