I’m still pretty new to the romance genre and am totally smitten by Courtney Milan (her Brothers Sinister series swept me off my feet!) … so I’d splurge on both her Carhart series and her Turner series.
I just finished the first two books in Lois McMaster Bujold’s Vorkosigan series, which I discovered on this site, and LOVED it. So I would definitely get the next books in the series,
I’ve been on a historical kick, and I have it in e-book, but I would buy “Devil in Winter” in paperback, because it’s a keeper!
Julia Quinn’s “The Girl with the Make-Believe Husband.” Only 85 days to wait.
Well, I was going to say “Etched in Bone” by Anne Bishop, but that’s already pre-ordered and comes out tomorrow, soooo…got to go with “The Chosen” by J.R. Ward, because yes, I’m still addicted even though I know better. 😀
I’d get some of Mercedes Lackey’s Valdemar backlist (because OMG there is a lot of it and shit gets expensive in bulk!), possibly the rest of the Collegium Chronicles (I read the first one and am dying to know more of Mags’ story) or one of the trilogies… (I’m so sad that my library system does not support me in my wannabe glom of Valdemar! #FirstWorldProblems)
It’s a toss up between the new Mercy Thompson book and the new Anne Bishop book. Maybe I’ll get both.
Ooh so many good books. I agree on both White Hot and the Chosen, Courtney Milan and LMB I love too, but im totally an impulse shopper when it comes to books so I’m not sure what I would buy first. Maybe finally puck up Carolyn Crane’s most recent Association book?
