Fairy Tale Fail by Mina V. Esguerra is 99c at Amazon! This is a contemporary romance and the author was recently on the podcast. Readers really loved the heroine and how she took control of her life. However, others wanted more character development. It has a 3.8-star rating on Goodreads. If you’re interested in more of Esguerra’s writing, several of her books are also on sale.
Ellie Manuel is a hopeless romantic, stuck in a cubicle all day. She’s in her twenties and should be having more fun. Also, a belated thanks to Sarah for the link to Fleuvog Shoes. I remember the original Fox & Fleuvog shop in Vancouver in the early ’70s. I was still at university then, so my shoe addiction was kept somewhat in check by student poverty. I still managed to save up for a pair of kickass Fleuvog boots and a cute pair of Fox pumps.
I loved My True Love Gave to Me and am so excited to see it on sale. Definitely recommend.
