The Hollow Places by T. Kingfisher is $1.99! I’ve enjoyed Kingfisher’s first horror novel, The Twisted Ones. If you want something spooky but is light on graphic or sexual violence, it’s worth a try. I haven’t checked out this one just yet, though it is on my radar.
The Kingmaker by Kennedy Ryan is $2.49! If you’ve been looking to try out Ryan’s steamy, angsty contemporaries, this isn’t a bad deal This is the first book in the series and I believe the first book has a bit of a cliffhanger. The second book is also available at this price.
Night Hawk by Beverly Jenkins is $1.99! This is my personal favorite Jenkins, but I realize that it was my first book I read by her and so I have some nostalgia attached to it. Do you have a favorite Jenkins?
RECOMMENDED: Burn for Me by Ilona Andrews is $1.50! Burn for Me is the first book in the Hidden Legacy series, and is an urban fantasy/billionaire romance with magic and suspense. We had a great guest squee on the entire series and I can definitely confirm the books are amazing!
The Leopard King by Ann Aguirre is $2.99! This is the first book in her paranormal romance series, Ars Numina. Readers loved the emotions the hero and heroine experienced, but some wished there was a bit more information about the world and setting. The next three books in the series are also $2.99 each.
Sweet Magnolias Collection: Volume 1 by Sherryl Woods is $2.99! This is the first two books in the small town romance series. It was also made into a Netflix series, which I haven’t watched yet. My brain keeps mixing it up with Steel Magnolias, and I had such a visceral, emotional reaction to that movie that it bleeds over to my impression of Sweet Magnolias.
Dead Witch Walking by Kim Harrison is 99c! This is book one in The Hollows series, which is urban fantasy with a fierce heroine and a lot of opportunities for asskicking. It has a 4+-star average on GoodReads, and is frequently mentioned when readers talk about which urban fantasy series to try next. However, if memory serves me right, I couldn’t get into it myself.
