Welcome back! A super light week for releases we’re excited for, as we kick off Thanksgiving in the United States. December is also looking just as quiet. We may even skip Christmas week because there’s absolutely nothing on our radar for the 24th. How is the rest of the year looking for you? What books are you excited for this week?
RECOMMENDED: A Spindle Splintered by Alix E. Harrow is $2.99! This is a Kindle Daily deal today. Tara gave this one an A-:
I’m a gigantic sucker for retellings, whether they’re of fairy tales, myths, or classic novels, and A Spindle Splintered might be my favourite so far. Its take on a multiverse feels fresh because there are no superheroes, only badass girls saving themselves.
Desiring Lady Caro by Ella Quinn is $1.99! This is a historical romance with a Venetian setting. Reviews on Goodreads say this is a pretty fast-paced romance and that there’s a road trip element! Though trigger warning because it seems part of the heroine’s backstory includes rape.
For the Wolf by Hannah Whitten is $2.99! This is a dark romantic fantasy that was featured in Hide Your Wallet and was highly anticipated by me and Aarya. I remember starting it but finding it a little slow.
Know You By Heart by Tif Marcelo is $1.99 at Amazon! This is book two in the Heart Resort series. The hero and heroine are in a fake marriage and are trying to save the hero’s struggling resort.
Red, White and Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston is $2.99! This one is probably on sale because of the recent exciting movie news and I know many of you loved this one. Aarya gave this one a C- because she found the political world building too much of a distraction.

Do you ever read a Georgette Heyer novel and think, “Man, that was great but I wish it had magic and also, like, maybe some diversity in the main characters”? If so, do I have a book for you!
Magical Midlife Madness by K.F. Breene is 99c at Amazon! This is described as paranormal women’s fiction and I’ve been noticing more and more of these sorts of books popping up. Have you read any of them?
Lizzie and Dante by Mary Bly is $2.99! Correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe this is Eloisa James’s pen name. This is more women’s fiction than a contemporary romance. It’s also a Kindle Daily Deal.
