One year we tried to toast marshmallows over all the lit menorot on the final night, but mostly the marshmallows got sooty instead of toasty. So we toasted them over the stove burners and ate s’mores anyway.

2024 is just around the corner, but I have to wait until June for the next installment of Sherry Thomas’ Lady Sherlock series. All I have heard is that it is called “A Ruse of Shadows”. Looking forward to it – her writing is always wonderful.

I am SO looking forward to Archangel’s Lineage and House of Flame and Shadow that I had to list them both!
Oooh, I think I’m most looking forward to Lyz Lenz’s This American Ex-Wife or Ashley Poston’s A Novel Love Story or Emily Henry’s Funny Story. So many great books coming out next year!

I’m looking forward to the next Sierra Simone/ Julie Murphy Christmas book!
My basic self is looking forward to Crescent City book 3. I am not a fan of mild cliffhangers and even good ones are like “but ….which way is this going to go…?”
I cannot wait for the follow-up to Allie Therin’s Liar City. Also for the next Kat Holloway mystery by Jennifer Ashley and a full reread of the series.
