It’s the eighth night of Hanukkah!
One year we tried to toast marshmallows over all the lit menorot on the final night, but mostly the marshmallows got sooty instead of toasty. So we toasted them over the stove burners and ate s’mores anyway.

There’s probably books I’m looking forward to more, but that’s literally the only one I can actually remember right now.
I’m super excited to read the novella Black Hellebore by Grace Draven. It was delayed for a while but it might be finished by the end of 2024 (fingers crossed). Grace is also working on The Nomas King, which is the fourth book in her Wraith Kings series (which includes Radiance, Eidolon, and the Ippos King.) I’m not sure when The Nomas King will be released, but it’s on my ‘most eagerly anticipated’ list.

Shadow’s End, the final book in the Lizzie Grace series by Keri Arthur
Primal Mirror, the next book in the Psy/Changeling rinity series by Nalini Singh. I love her writing style.
I am also looking forward to Dane’s Mark by Lora Leigh. Dane Vanderale finally gets his HEA.
I am so excited for “Some Desperate Glory” by Emily Tesh. I have the release date marked on my calendar so I don’t forget! April 11 here I come…
Way too many to count, but Cait Nary’s latest m/m hockey romance, LUCKY BOUNCE, drops January 9–iand I can’t wait.
I don’t know what’s coming out, but I love a Tessa Dare book, and it looks like The Bride Bet is set to release in 2024!
As I said somewhere else, the new Penric and Desdemona story from Lois Bujold. But after that, Cat Sebastian’s You Should Be So Lucky, and T. Kingfisher’s A Sorceress Comes to Call.
Looking through my preorders, probably The Tainted Cup by Robert Jackson Bennett. I love his writing and I’m intrigued by the idea of him doing a classic detective story in a fantasy world.
I’m so looking forward to Harper St. George’s newest book The Stranger I Wed and Liana De la Rosa’s Isabel and the Rogue!
I am looking forward to then new St. Cyr mystery by C. S. Harris.

The last book in Sarah MacLean’s Hell’s Belles series and hopefully the next Milla Vane book.
I’m catching up with the last few Nalini Singh books and from the glimpse of the next book, Primal Mirror, I’m definitely looking forward to it! Happy Hannukah!
In 2024 we are finally getting the 1920’s jazz age Thomas Nightingale prequel (from the Rivers of London-series) that we all deserve and I cannot wait!

I’m trying to keep up with so many 2023 and earlier books, I have not looked ahead to 2024. I saw someone mentioned there will be another Lady Darby book, which would be awesome.
So hard to choose! I loved Allie Therin’s Liar City, so I’m excited for the second book, Twisted Shadows. I’m also looking forward to new books from Kate Clayborn and Anita Kelly.
The American Daughters by Maurice Carlos Ruffin looks fantastic.
I’m looking forward to A.J. Jacobs’s “The Year of Living Constitutionally.” He does a great job of finding the absurdities in texts that people see as sacrosanct.
