Off the Ice by Avon Gale and Piper Vaughn is $1.99! This is a very steamy M/M romance with a hockey player hero going back to school to finish his MBA, and having a major crush on one his professors. There is a bit of a taboo element with the teacher/student dynamic, though the hockey hero is older than your average student. Your mileage may vary with this trope.

NHL star Tristan Holt may be at the top of his game, but he’s already thinking one play ahead. Hitting the books in the off-season means he’ll have a business degree to fall back on when it’s time to hang up his hockey skates.

A Secret History of Witches by Louisa Morgan is $2.99! This is historical fiction with some fantasy and generational saga elements. Morgan does a lot of witch-centric fiction if that’s your jam! I’m super curious about this one, but I’m usually iffy on generational stuff.

You Sexy Thing
RECOMMENDED: You Sexy Thing by Cat Rambo is $2.99! Carrie read this one and gave it a B+:
I recommend this for fans of Farscape, Firefly, complicated relationships, and cooking shows. If found family and food are your thing, you will like this book, although please be aware that the lighthearted tone takes a temporary swivel into scary and sad when the pirates get involved.

Ooh, I had just picked up the Cat Rambo audiobook about a week ago, but I couldn’t resist adding the ebook, too.
Heh. I thought Cat Rambo You Sexy Thing was the title. Until I lifted my eyes to top left for the author’s name.
I LOVED The Chai Factor, and its sequel, Accidentally Engaged. I’d really like to see more in this series 🙂
Picking up the Chai Factor. I loved the Cat Rambo book, I read it when it came out. I keep checking if a sequel is out.
And sadly the Cat Rambo book did not hold my attention.

I’m one who loved YOU SEXY THING. Everything about it felt fresh–restaurants in space?–and the characters were really interesting. Maybe this sale means another is on its way. One can hope.
Borrowed “The Chai Factor” ebook from the library and read it yesterday. I agree with the review that it was surprisingly steamy for a closed-door romance – the chemistry between the main characters was great. Sparks all over the place. I wish the airport incident that is referred to had been explained better than it was. Also, I love how the incidents of Islamophobia played out and how she wasn’t willing to throw herself under the microaggression bus or see herself as owing someone who makes a poor apology forgiveness just so they don’t feel bad about being Islamophobes. Yes. So much yes.
I checked out “Accidentally Engaged” because I want to see her friend get her HEA, but I’m really hoping a book will be written for her mom so we can meet this new love in her life and see it develop.
Also, total side note, that ad on the sidebar for “Irretrievably Wicked” has terrible font choices. I could barely read the author’s name or decipher that it said “Available on Amazon”. I hope the person who bought that ad space can get a better version.
