Help A Bitch Out - SOLVED!

HaBO: Hot Porch Lovin’

You did it! We figured this one out! It is a truth universally acknowledged (by me for certain) that the Bitchery pretty much knows everything, and really, it's true. Scroll down to see the solution for this HaBO - and many thanks!

This HaBO is from Michelle, who wants to find this historical romance:

There was this historical romance I read back in like 2006-07.

This woman meets a guy who I think was either a gunslinger or an outlaw or something like that. They end up having to go on the run because his former posse or whatever wants to kill him and are chasing them. I think maybe because he stole money from them, but I’m not sure.

There’s a really hot scene where they have sex on like a chaise lounge on a porch.

In like the last chapter, she goes into labor while they’re in bed and she wakes him up from this funny nightmare he was having, (I definitely remember laughing about it). He runs around the house waking up all the maids and stuff. IIRC, they end up kicking him out of the bedroom because he was freaking out.

Who knows this one?

It sounds like it might be a Patricia Gaffney – Outlaw in Paradise has these vibes, but I don’t remember whether there was a porch scene. (The only historical that I can recall that has porch lovin’ is That Camden Summer by Lavyrle Spencer.)

Maybe an Ellen Archer? I remember her doing some funny Westerns for Zebra. (Tiger Lil was a standout – it was the first time I read a story featuring older H/H (think mid-40s) and there being actual signs of age – her dealing with grey roots and him trying to dress over a pot belly.)

Don’t know about the HABO, but I’m definitely going hunting for Tiger Lil.

Can’t find Tiger Lil on Amazon…

So, I’m not 100% sure, but just going by the synopsis and the cover, I think Omphale got it right. I think it’s Outlaw In Paradise by Patricia Gaffney. Thank you so much!!
