This review could easily extend to countless paragraphs of my simply listing the ways in which I love this book and what it has done for me, but I must stop so that you, dear Bitchery, can pick this book up and enjoy it yourselves.
RECOMMENDED: Battle Royal by Lucy Parker is $1.99! Catherine gave this one an A-:
I loved Battle Royal. While it did have minor flaws, it more than made up for them with humour, tenderness, and food porn.
RECOMMENDED: Say You’re Sorry by Karen Rose is $1.99! Carrie, who is not normally a romantic suspense reader, was tempted by the setting of Sacramento. She gave it a B+:
In general I don’t think Romantic Suspense will ever be my favorite genre, but I certainly found this example to be emotional and gripping, and it did a good job of including romance without making me feel that the violence was being used as some sort of adrenaline-providing backdrop.
How Sweet It Is by Dylann Newton is $1.99! It’s a Kindle Daily Deal. I believe this was Newton’s debut. It’s an opposites attract romance between a horror writer and a wedding planner. I’ve heard a lot of good things about this one!
