RECOMMENDED: Libriomancer by Jim C. Hines is $1.99! This urban fantasy novel combines things that a lot of us love: books and magic. Back when Carrie was a guest reviewer, she gave this book an A- grade and said it had a “fantastic concept.” Adam, Sarah’s husband, also says:
People who like fantasy in general will like this, but if you have any kind of literary nerd fandom, you will find Easter eggs in there.
Terminal Alliance involves the janitorial crew of the Earth Mercenary Corps Ship Pufferfish. “Mops” Adamopoulos and her sanitation team are some of the humans serving on a Krakau ship. RECOMMENDED: The Obsession by Nora Roberts is $1.99! Elyse really loved this book; she’s our resident romantic suspense reader. She does warn that the book can get pretty creepy, but she gave it an A- grade:
The suspense worked for me (most of the time) and, as usual, Roberts’ writing transported me to my happy place. The detailed descriptions blended in seamlessly with the dialogue and action, and it let me shut my brain down for awhile and just enjoy the story.
