RECOMMEND: The Flatshare by Beth O’Leary is $2.99! We had a great guest review of this one and Lisa the Librarian gave it an A-:
It was romantic, sweet, hot, funny, and original – everything I’m looking for in a romance. I can definitely see myself rereading this in the not-too-distant future.

Holly Black’s first novel marketed for adults is a gritty urban fantasy in which magic allows people to control their own, and sometimes other people’s, shadows, and in which the rich and powerful trade in secrets and books of lore while jockeying for power. The heroine is deaf and in an arranged marriage. Some readers thought the conflict was resolved rather easily, but many loved the romance between the hero and heroine. It has a 4.1-star rating on Goodreads.

We have a whole new batch of new releases to discuss. And by “batch,” I mean over forty! We also have two books with the same title released this month, which I thought was kind of neat. I think we’ve name-checked all the big releases; I couldn’t think of anything we left off. If we did, please chime in below. What November books are on your to-read list?
RECOMMENDED: Monsters of Men by Patrick Ness is $1.99! Ness is an amazing author and my roommate swears by his books. This is the third and final book in the Chaos Walking trilogy and it’s definitely a series you have to read in order. But in case you’ve been waiting for this one, now’s your chance to grab it. As with any end to a series, some people loved the conclusion and some didn’t. However, it has a 4.2-star rating on Goodreads, which is pretty impressive.
