Have I talked about pizza beans before? It’s one of my favorite dishes to make and it’s so dang good. It’s also turned into a bit of a fridge clean out recipe when it comes to using up vegetables that are on their last legs. This time, we threw in some summer squash and cherry tomatoes. Highly recommend. If it gets a little too watery, you can serve over pasta or rice.
Also in baby news, we have movement! I mostly feel her kicking around between 10pm-11pm, right as I’m drifting off to sleep, which has been fun.

The pizza beans sound great. And the kimono video reminded me of NHK World Japan, which is an English language Japanese TV channel. We get it on cable but I believe it’s also streaming. They have lots of shows highlighting people doing traditional arts and crafts, also lots of food programs and travelogues. But the tone throughout is very soothing, it’s just the most relaxing thing to watch.
Anything simple with cheese and tomato goes into my “to be cooked” list. Thanks for the pasta beans idea!

@Karin: My PBS station shows NHK’s Dining With The Chef, so it might be a recent addition to other affiliates. When I had NHK on my system, my favorite was (iirc) Tsukiji, a weekly newsmagazine that would spend a whole hour on a specialty topic (my favorites were the fried croquette and fizzing bath tablet episodes). I need to look for those on YouTube or something.
