Welcome back!
July is moving and grooving. Startlingly so. My reading slump somewhat continues. I’ve been sporadically playing the audiobook of Dungeon Crawler Carl, but it’s not a daily occurrence.
Moonlight Peaks came out last week. It’s a farming sim with a cozy-ish, supernatural twist. I’m enjoying it so far and I think it does a good job of pacing out the content. There’s no rushing through things. Also for people who don’t like combat, I don’t think there is any. I’m still in the first season.
It’s on Switch and PC. There are some bugs, but the dev team is very responsive on socials and plan to release a patch soon.

I used to purchase so many books from London’s Charing Cross stores and independent dealers in the ’80s-’90s, primarily crime fiction. But one used and new bookstore — cannot remember the name at all — had a huge romance section along with its tremendous crime, scifi and fantasy offerings. That store was absolute heaven and a must-stop on every trip.
So many outstanding stores are gone. If only they could have hung on for, oh, another 20-30 years … I hope Bad Girl Books lasts forever.

Darlynne I would be surprised if that bookshop was not Murder One. Crime and Romance upstairs, Science Fiction and Fantasy downstairs. Loved the place.
