HaBO: Alpha’s Pack Also Has Witches

This HaBO comes from Kathy, who wants to find this paranormal romance:

It starts with the Alpha killing a man and taking the man’s daughter. The Alpha takes her to his pack and enslaves her at the tavern where she is forced to work. He ignores her for as long as possible. Her father was a horrible shifter, abusing women, and no one knows the daughter stayed with her dad to help the women escape. The Alpha hates her, but she is his mate.

She discovers she also has magical healing powers. The Alpha’s pack has witches who teach and train her.

Two other packs are vying for power and control. The leader of the “bad side” is the Alpha’s mother. It’s turned into a war, with packs taking sides. The Alpha’s brother comes to fight with him, and his lead warrior is a kickass woman. The heroine and the Alpha eventually travel to the “Mountain,” where they need to destroy some kind of dark magic to destroy the Alpha’s mom.

Can we HaBO this one?

I have no clue but since the Alpha puts the “(w)hole” in Alphahole, I hope the poor, trod-upon MFC runs off with the kick-ass F warrior & the witches and they live happily ever after, after kicking the asses of the MMC and everyone in his family (and dig up her pig of a father & kick his rotting ass, too).
If that doesn’t occur in this HABO, can anyone suggest a book in which I COULD read this??? TIA.

I have no clue what the HABO is, but that MMC puts the “(w)hole” in “Alphahole”. I hope that the poor, persecuted MFC runs off with the kick-ass F warrior (& the witches) after they finish kicking the asses of the Alpha and his entire family (and dig up her P.O.S. father and kick the ass of his rotting corpse, too).
If anyone knows of a book in which something similar occurs, please post the title & author. I would read the shit out of THAT book.
TIA (& sorry for being of no assistance, Kathy).

This sounds like it’s The Tyrant Alpha’s Rejected Mate from Cate C. Wells’ Five Packs series.

  7. Katie C. says:

It is Not Tyrant Alpha’s Rejected Mate – that has only one witch (who is a recurring character in the series), there is no war (although there is tension among the packs), the MMC’s mother is long dead at the start of the book so he is not fighting her faction, the FMC from TARM is not stolen from another pack – she grew up in the same pack as the alpha.

I am a huge Cate C Wells fans and none of the Five Packs books match up with this.

  8. Jiobal says:

@Jennifer: I agree that the beginning Sounds similar to TTARM, however I don’t recall magical healing powers in the heroine’s case nor a battle with evil at the end.
@betsydub while the hero very much qualifies as an Alphahole, TTARM ist actually very fun to read, would recommend.

  9. Kathy says:

How about a little more details…There are at least five packs involved, which territories surround “the mountain”. One pack is ruled by the Main Character Alpha. His Mother is Alpha of a neighing pack. the Mother Alpha, uses witches at one point to turn her soldiers into terrifying werewolf/hybrid killing machines. The main female character: everyone hates her because of her father/Father is rogue and abuses women/ you find out later, the MFC stays with her father to help the kidnapped girls/ Her Father killed her mother, ( he really is a bad guy)/ she is the Main Alphas Mate and she is the key person the Mother Alpha needs to take over all the packs. The MFC has hidden powers and the Main Alpha finds witches to help her reveal her hidden powers.
