This HaBO request is from Katharina, who is hoping to find this romance from 80s:
Unfortunately I remember very little, but I’d love to find this book again.
It was a slim Regency Romance (could have been Category) with a pastel colored cover (soft yellow/pink).
The heroine is the ward of the hero, or he’s a family friend. She gets kissed against her will and flees to his house. They sit in his library and talk about kissing and attraction.
I read this book around 1982/83; my sister had bought it as a used book but it was in very good condition, so I think it was published at the beginning of the 1980s.
Does this sounds familiar?

I very much want to find this book again, so I’ll gladly take any recommendations where hero and heroine talk in a library — since it wouldn’t exactly be such a dreadful “chore” to read a couple of romances … (my TBR is beyond manageable anyway)
Not old enough, but made me think of Season for Surrender by Theresa Romaine.
@Katharina: if it was a series romance, might you recognize the cover style? For example, here are some covers from the Candlelight series:

@Kareni: thanks for that fantastic link – yes, the cover style fits (at first browsing I didn’t immediately recognize any of the covers, but I’ll very much enjoy taking a second longer look)
@Kat: I’ve had Theresa Romaine on my TBR for ages – this seems a very good reason to take a closer look – good that I’ll have a very long train ride next weekend.
