Hired by Zoey Castile is $2.99! This is the second book in the Happy Endings series and book one is also on sale. I actually think it might be my favorite book in the trilogy, as both the hero and heroine just genuinely love being around one another. My biggest complaint was that I felt the heroine’s relationship with her mother could have used more of a resolution.

Mia Vincy is an auto-buy for me. Her books all seem to follow a similar pattern: the first half is full of snappy dialogue and witty banter (which Vincy excels at) and the second half is an emotional trajectory (not as good, although, to be fair, the bar from the first half is set rather high.)
The villain in this one is perfect, if perhaps too tidily dealt with at the end. He’s creepy in precisely the sort of way that you’re sure is creepy, but if you explained it to someone else, would they agree? The not knowing if you can/should expose him makes him all the creepier. Definitely recommend.
The Vibrant Years is probably going to be my favorite book this year and it’s only March.
For this sixty-something sex positive reader, a sixty-something sex positive woman at the center of a romance novel was a wonderful respite from 20-something virgins. But not only that, it’s a deeply funny story.
Enjoyed all of these, but the Vincy is my top pick.
A Dangerous Kind of Lady is my favorite book of the series so far.
I know the different versions of Amazon operate differently, but it’s so frustrating to read about offers on Amazon.com which are not replicated on Amazon UK.
‘Hired’ by Zoey Castile which you tell us is $2.99 on Amazon.com – is £9.02 on Amazon UK for the kindle edition!!! I’ve never heard of the author and I’m certainly not prepared to pay so much for a kindle version of a book.
I have loved all of Mia Vincy’s Books so far, but A Dangerous Kind of Lady was my favorite.
@Susan Allan: I agree, but I don’t know If this can at all be handeled by SMTB. As a German reader, it is always a surprise if a book mentioned here is a) on sale for the same prize b) on sale for a widely different prize or c) Not on sale at all at amazonDE
