I am looking forward to having some blocks of time off, a grandchild old enough to run the house and feed the dog in my absence, and an ability to travel (less Covid). I definitely have two out of three and keeping fingers crossed on the third.

Season 2 of Bridgerton
I’m hoping that I can finally feel comfortable actually seeing a movie in a theatre.
Two of my three toddlers will be old enough to be vaccinated in January! They’ll be 5 and are already excited to get their shots to protect their sister (also because their mom is very liberal with the candy/stickers for vaccines).
And maybe also looking forward to Nona the Ninth.
I am looking forward to celebrating our son’s marriage with an in-person party in summer 2022. They canceled the May 2020 wedding and held it on zoom in Sept 2020.
I am looking forward to time away next year
I am really looking forward to a fresh start with a new year in 2022. Surely it has to be better than the last few years!!
I am looking forward to a trip to see my father, if it doesn’t get canceled again.
In 2022, I’m looking forward to maybe being able to travel again (at least to see my family); and beginning to plan for a sabbatical in 2023 lol!

I had hoped to spend a milestone birthday at Disney World with my grandchildren. Perhaps it will happen next year instead.
We plan to go to Europe next summer! It is very exciting!
I’m really excited for the 3rd Scholomance by Naomi Novick – the 2nd ended on such a cliff hanger. It’ll probably be 2022 before I get off the library waitlist for the new Outlander, which I’m also really looking forward to.
