SBTB Hanukkah Celebration 2021 – Night Eight Giveaway!

Hanukkah 2021 with a framed picture of SBTB's original ladies and a lit menorah

Happy Eighth Night of Hanukkah!

We made it! The smoke alarm is giving me the side-eye treatment and it’s rather warm in here, but gosh is it beautiful.

Ready for our final night of Hanukkah giveaway? I hope so!

Today’s prize is: a Kate Spade Mulberry Street Lise in Dusty Blue!

A beautiful multi compartment satchel bag in light blue overhead view of the bag but because it's blue it doesn't look as much like a big vageen

I love this color so much. And the compartments!

Want some specs?

  • The bag measures approximately 7.8″h x 11.5″w x 4.5″d
  • The strap length is 22″
  • It has a zip closure across the top of the satchel
  • It also has front and back slide pockets with snap closures

Want to enter? I hope so!

Just leave a comment and tell us what you are most looking forward to in 2022 – book, film, event, celebration, trip, another book? We want to know!

    New Downton Abbey movie!

  3. Jen B says:

It’s coming in 2021 but I won’t be watching the final season of the expanse on Amazon until 2022. It is such a good adaptation of the books and I love how it foregrounds relationships so welll!

  4. KatiM says:

I want to go on vacation again! We had a Star Wars Day at Sea cruise booked for February which I just sadly canceled. We are now looking at either summer or October for new cruise dates.

  5. Megan S. says:

I’ve missed live concerts so much. With the pandemic still causing so much uncertainty, I don’t know if it’ll be possible for me to go to ones I want to in the near future, but I’m both looking forward to ones in the future and looking back and re-appreciating the ones I’ve experienced in the past.

    Happy Hanukkah, SBTB!

  6. TaraR says:

    Ridiculously excited for Obi-Wan Kenobi!

  7. Maria F says:

Another for Ruby Fever by Ilona Andrews. And Storm Echo, the next Psy/Changeling by Nalini Singh.

  8. rissatoo says:

I’m looking forward to July, when my extended family will be getting together in the Southern Utah mountains for a camping week. It’s a glorious time, gorgeous scenery, relaxing, not quite off-the-grid. Just a really wonderful time, and I can hardly wait! It’s been too long since we were last able to do this.

  9. Stacey says:

In 2022 I’m looking forward to getting to know my new home state of Maine a little better. Also looking forward to the work I’ll do in the position I just got promoted to!

  10. Lina Cortez says:

Looking forward to Bridgerton season 2!

  11. Julia Thompson says:

  13. Escapeologist says:

Thank you for this topic, I needed the reminder that there are indeed things to look forward to next year. And thank you to everyone who shared their joy!
At first I drew a total blank, but after caffeine and chocolate and some googling I can contribute:

Books and talking about books with the SBTB community. I don’t do preorders or even series anymore, never know when my brain will decide we’ve had enough of that, time for something completely different! I love discovering new-to-me stuff here. Y’all give the best recs.

EUROVISION song contest – first peeks at songs and artists are starting to trickle in already. Bananapants entertainment incoming!

Animated movies – THE AMAZING MAURICE based on the Terry Pratchett story with a stellar British voice cast; Pixar’s TURNING RED starring adorable fluffy red panda; and like 30 more according to the internet rabbit hole in my browser tabs.

Live action movies – LEGALLY BLONDE 3 – I hear Mindy Kaling is involved(!), THOR Love and Thunder – would watch Chris Hemsworth in anything including the weather forecast, which he did do once, the video is out there on the internet; also I really enjoy Thor’s worldbuilding.

Happy holidays to all, thank you Sarah for celebrating with us!

  14. DiscoDollyDeb says:

The 2022 book I am most anticipating is Rachel Reid’s LONG GAME, the sixth and final book in her Game Changer series of m/m hockey romances and the one that apparently will give Shane & Ilya from HEATED RIVALRY their HEA. Can’t wait!

I am looking forward to a family vacation to Asheville, North Carolina, in Summer 2022. Covid permitting, of course.

  15. Elizabeth says:

I’m looking forward to my 50th birthday. We will sent “Rent” a few day earlier, then we are going to go on a trip (place still undetermined).

  19. stylinsonbirds says:

I’m excited for the return of Stars on Ice! I love figure skating and SOI had been canceled since 2019. I hope it’ll be held safely and responsibly!

  20. footiepjs says:

My sister, BIL, and I are going to the Netherlands, Germany, and Denmark. (We hope!) This trip was inspired by seeing the Sparks documentary in July and seeing that they’re on a European tour and we built it out from there.

  21. DonnaMarie says:

I look forward to being selfish. This last year has been all about sacrifice and caregiving and putting others over self. Don’t get me wrong, I do that sort of things on the regular, just not to this degree. Nor do I regret a moment of what I gave or gave up. I’m just looking forward to putting myself first. Being lazy of a Saturday morning, not doing laundry for two weeks – much easier now that all my underwear is in one place – binge watching all the Marvel programs I missed now that I have figured out the Roku thing.

  22. HeatherS says:

I’m looking forward to running more road races! Not a specific event, but I did the 5K in the Rock N Roll Marathon race series in my city yesterday and it has me craving to lace up my running shoes for more. 🙂

  23. Kimberly says:

Midnight Dunes, next installment in Laura Griffin’s Texas Murder Files.

  24. Sean says:

The Cold Millions by Jess Walter. I’ve had the book for months but haven’t started it yet.

  25. WendyW says:

    S2 of Bridgerton!

  26. Karyn says:

I’m looking forward to new Alexis Hall, new Cat Sebastian, and new Ilona Andrews books, and a new film version of Persuasion on Netflix!

  27. chelsea w says:

I’m looking forward to visiting my brother since I rarely get to see him or spend time with him!

  28. Katy L says:

In books, I’m looking forward to the new Mercy Thompson, Psy-Changeling, and Guild Hunter novels. In general, hoping for the end of this (expletive deleted) pandemic! Hope all have happy and healthy holidays and new year!

  29. Kareni says:

    Happy Eighth Night of Hanukkah!

I hope that I’ll get the opportunity to spend in person time with my sister and daughter and book group and friends and ….

    Happy holidays to all!

  35. Vanessa says:

I am going to Spain for a month in January and I’m barely ganging on in the wait!

  36. Elizabeth Turney says:

I am so looking forward to moving into a larger place! Covid and surgery kept us in our lease another year, so next summer we’re moving up!

  37. cayenne says:

I’m looking forward to seeing my family all together again for (hopefully) Passover and/or (more likely) High Holidays, maybe even for a party for my mum’s upcoming 80th birthday. Yesterday, I saw my cousin for the first time in over two years, and despite having so many ways to communicate at a distance, it brought home how long it’s been since we’ve all been able to get together and how much I miss the shared, in-person celebration of important times. Crossing fingers we’ll be able to do that again soon.

Thank you to SBTB for the fun this week, and happy holidays to everyone celebrating!!

  38. The next season of Picard! And hopefully getting some overdue work done on and around the house.

  39. Glenda M says:

All I can think of at the moment is how much I’m looking forward to my puppy being potty trained.

  40. Debbie says:

I am looking forward to my husband no longer being on the school board!
