  • Here to Stay

Here to Stay by Adriana Herrera

Here to Stay by Adriana Herrera is $1.99! This is the first book in the Dating in Dallas series, which I believe was mentioned in a previous Hide Your Wallet. It also has enemies to lovers! Have you read this one?

Starting over is more about who you’re with than where you live…

Julia del Mar Ortiz is not having the best year.

She moved to Dallas with her boyfriend, who ended up ditching her and running back to New York after only a few weeks. Left with a massive—by NYC standards, anyway—apartment and a car lease in the scorching Texas heat, Julia is struggling…except that’s not completely true. Running the charitable foundation of one of the most iconic high fashion department stores in the world is serious #lifegoals.

It’s more than enough to make her want to stick it out down South.

The only monkey wrench in Julia’s plans is the blue-eyed, smart-mouthed consultant the store hired to take them public. Fellow New Yorker Rocco Quinn’s first order of business? Putting Julia’s job on the chopping block.

When Julia is tasked with making sure Rocco sees how valuable the programs she runs are, she’s caught between a rock and a very hard set of abs. Because Rocco Quinn is almost impossible to hate—and even harder to resist.

  • The Immortal Who Loved Me

The Immortal Who Loved Me by Lynsay Sands

The Immortal Who Loved Me by Lynsay Sands is $1.99! This is book twenty-one (wow!) in the Argeneau series, which is filled to the brim with vampires. For the most part, books in the series can be read as standalone novels. Some readers mentioned that a lot happens in this book, maybe a little too much. Others said the book has a good blend of humor and adventure.

A few hours ago, Sherry Carne would have sworn that vampires didn’t exist. That’s before rogue immortals rampage through her store, leaving bloody chaos (literally) in their wake. The kicker comes when Sherry learns that one of the vamps on the bad guys’ trail may be her life mate. Her head says it’s impossible. The rest of her takes one look at Basileios Argeneau, and has much more interesting ideas.

Whatever Basil expected in a life mate, funny, outspoken Sherry isn’t it. But mind-blowing chemistry and instinct don’t lie. They tell him something else too – that Sherry’s connection to the immortal world goes deeper than she knows. And that she’s in the kind of danger only Basil can save her from – if she’ll just trust him, now and forever…

  • Born in Blood

Born in Blood by Alexandra Ivy

Born in Blood by Alexandra Ivy is $1.99! This is the first book in her Sentinels series and features a cop hero. In the series, supernatural beings also exist in the world, though many try to live on a protected compound in the Midwest called Valhalla. Some readers felt sex between the hero and heroine happened way too quickly, while others enjoyed a paranormal romance without the usual werewolves and vampires. It has a 3.8-star rating on Goodreads.

In a stunning new paranormal romance series—even edgier than her bestselling Guardians of Eternity books—New York Times bestselling author Alexandra Ivy lures readers into the dark, seductive world of the Sentinels—humans outcast by their hidden abilities, treading the line between life and death, good and evil, pleasure and pain…

    Born In Blood

Sergeant Duncan O’Conner has seen it all before. A beautiful erotic dancer is found murdered in her home—no suspect, no motive. But there’s one clue: she’s missing her heart. It’s enough to make the hard-bitten Kansas City cop enlist the help of a necro—one of the dead-channeling freaks who live in the domed city of nearby Valhalla. It’s a long shot, but desperate crimes call for desperate measures.

Unlike the other “high-bloods” in Valhalla, Callie Brown considers her abilities a gift, not a curse. But when she reads the dancer’s final thoughts, she senses a powerful presence blocking her vision. This is no ordinary homicide. This is the work of a legendary necromancer who controls souls. A ravenous force that will put Callie’s skills to the test, O’Conner’s career at risk, and both their hearts on the line…literally

  • Puppy Love

    Puppy Love by Lucy Gilmore

Puppy Love by Lucy Gilmore is $1.99! Thanks to everyone who told us about this sale because it sounds adorable. The heroine and her sisters run a training school for service puppies and the hero is in the market for a diabetic service dog. ISN’T THAT SO CUTE!

No matter the job, no matter the need
These service dogs in training will always fall in love at first bark.

When Sophie Vasquez and her sisters dreamed up Puppy Promise—their service puppy training school—it was supposed to be her chance to bring some good into the world. But how can she expect to do anything when no one will take her seriously?

Enter Harrison Parks: a rough, gruff, take-no-bull wildlife firefighter in need of a diabetic service dog. He couldn’t be a more unlikely fit for Sophie or Bubbles—the sweet Pomeranian she knows will be his perfect partner—but when Sophie insists he give them both a shot, something unexpected happens: he listens. Even better, he keeps on listening, even as Sophie and Bubbles turn his lonely, uber-masculine world upside-down.

As it turns out, they all have something to prove…and more than enough room in their hearts for a little puppy love.

  1. Bunnifur says:

For those interested in Faith Hunter’s Jane Yellowrock series, book 9, Dark Heir, is $1.99 at US Amazon. Adding the audiobook narration is $3.49, which is a great deal. My library doesn’t carry this series, so I’ve slowly been collecting them as the very rare sales appear.

  2. Carrie G says:

    On Amazon:
Jill Shalvis’s Instant Gratification is $1.99. Enjoyable, light contemporary.
For My Lady’s Heart by Laura Kinsale is $1.99
Royal Heir by Ruth Cardello is $1.99
An Earl, the Girl, and a Toddler by Vanessa Riley is $1.99
Mimi Matthew’s Matrimonial Advertizement Book 1 in a series,is $2,49. She’s hit or miss with me, but it has good reviews.

    For romantic suspense lovers:
Cold and Deadly by Toni Anderson, first of a series, is free.
Boxed Set Volume 3 of the Evidence series by Rachel Grant is $0.99. I like her writing and I don’t think you have to read the books in order, but I may be wrong.

    My pick:
Cry Wolf, number 5 in Charlie Adhara’s wonderful Big Bad Wolf series, is $1.99. You DO have to read these books in order, but what an absolute treat.

  3. Lisa F says:

Lucy Gilmore is so good, and honestly writes some of the best dog-based contemps out there. And the AH is amazing!

  4. Argie says:

All 3 books in the Lucy Gilmore Forever Home series are $1.99. So that’s 3 Puppy books for $6.

  5. NomadiCat says:

@Bunnifur, I’m in the same boat and appreciate the head’s up!

  6. JenM says:

The entire series was good, but Puppy Love is my favorite. The story is as adorable as the cover. It features a diabetic firefighter (caretaker alpha to his core) who needs a service dog who will alert him when his blood sugar goes off the rails, but is rugged enough to keep up when he’s out in the field. Needless to say, Bubbles, the Pom puppy he’s matched with isn’t exactly what he expected or wanted.

  7. JudyW says:

I am with Carrie G. that the Charlie Adhara series is wonderful. If you have not read it than I envy you that first read of the series. These books have made my “best reads” list nearly every time.
