We’ve entered the period of the holiday season where I have no clue what day or month it is. If you also have that problem, come sit by me!
I hope you all had a lovely Thanksgiving meal, however you chose to celebrate it. I ordered my turkey day meal, took some edibles, and played video games all day. Not ideal, but we make do!
Next up is the spring the the winter holiday season, complete with our awesome Hanukkah giveaways!

Don’t forget to share what super cool things you’ve seen, read, or listened to this week! And if you have anything you think we’d like to post on a future Wednesday Links, send it my way!
The first video made me smile. The Ryan Reynolds link led me down a lovely, comfortable rabbit hole of all his videos. I follow him on Twitter, but have missed all of this gloriousness. Thank you, I was in desperate need and didn’t realize the remedy was a click away.
I discovered this delightful YT channel: Laurence’s School of Flock. Our host is a British ‘design consultant’ (interior designer, I guess) who discusses various design influences in 15-20 minute episodes. Mr Llewelyn-Bowes is not a dandy, but a rather handsome peacock (those themed suits!), who is quite knowledgeable & witty (I did laugh out loud several times) & very aware of his own attractiveness. Highly highly recommended.

Totally enjoyed the Lea Salonga clip—I miss live performances so much!
Came across YouTube channel of soothing videos with adorable animated dogs, beautiful scenery and piano music or ambient sounds. Been playing them in the background while working. Here is a coffee shop one – https://youtu.be/X97-YZm9hnQ
Or just search for Doggie Corgi ASMR videos
@hng23
Is that the same Laurence from that really old reality TV series Changing Houses were people swapped houses and fixed rooms with help from decorators?
Thank you SO much!
@Maite, it is! I am such an architecture nerd and this series is great fun.
@Maite: I had to look it up (I’m not British), but yes, that’s him. I’d never heard of him before this YT series.
Oh, here’s another YT series I’m really enjoying: Sexy Nails, from Australia. “Two guys talk life, the universe and lacquer over their monthly manicure.” It’s really charming. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCWNuEM5wdxrcPPtB47EaMuA
These links are particularly great this week. Thank you.
@hng23: just watched three episodes of Sexy Nails. It is brilliant! Thanks so much!
Tor is giving away the Home For Wayward Children series, one a day this week. If you are a fan, or think you might become one, you can still grab the next couple from their website when you sign up for their newsletter.
Aussie masculinity can be so wholesome. Try Aussie Metal Heads React, on Nathan McCallum’s channel, if that’s something you’re into. https://www.youtube.com/c/isnathan
And ZOMG @hng23, LLB has a YT channel?! THANK YOU! I STILL want to hang a dead birch tree covered in lights from my ceiling, thanks to him.
@maite: they’re bringing Changing Rooms back. WITH LLB!
I’m back to share one more link – Miranda Hart’s newsletter archives. Today’s letter is titled “Don’t Panic” and it was 100% what my brain needed.
