However, readers say this works fine as a standalone. Quinn is an auto-buy for a lot of romance readers, though some were unable to forgive the hero for kidnapping the heroine.

First Star I See Tonight by Susan Elizabeth Phillips is $2.99! This is a Kindle Daily Deal for today. For many people, this was one of the most anticipated romances of 2016. I had a hard time putting First Star I See Tonight down but yes, it’s super problematic and not one I’d recommend.
Love Lettering, on the other hand, is magnificent and catapulted its way to become one of my all-time favorite novels.

Love Lettering was wonderful. I stayed up until 3am finishing it with no regrets the next day.
Loved “Love Lettering” but am thoroughly over main characters that stop people on the street with their beauty (H in this case). Otherwise, it was excellent.
I bought the SEP book at full price and was severely disappointed. I don’t think it’s worth getting at any price really.
