Giveaway: Nokia Activity Watches

I feel like we’re past due for a giveaway, don’t you think?

For the next six days, we’ll be running a giveaway for two (2) Nokia watches! We’ve done a couple Nokia giveaways previously and they’ve been a huge hit. For this giveaway, we have the Steel HR Watch and the Steel Watch up for grabs.

Sarah: I really like doing giveaways for Nokia watches because they’re gorgeous and more importantly I love mine. I got it a little over two years ago and it’s terrific and definitely inspires me to keep moving. I know what time it is (which I NEVER know on my own without looking 35x an hour) and I know about how far I have to go to reach my step goal.

I appreciate the simplicity of the layout, and how the look of the watch can be changed with a different colored band. I wasn’t really ever a watch person, but I really dig this one, and I’m so excited to share two with all of you.

  1. Shannon H says:

I love to head to the gym and do cleans and deadlifts. It quiets my mind and focuses me in on something I can attack and see noticeable improvements in, and also makes me feel badass 🙂

  2. Trini says:

As an aerobics instructor and personal trainer my favorite wellness activity involves anything that I don’t do in class! For stress relief – boxing and/or just chilling with a good book.

  3. MarieC says:

So this is going to sound absolutely lazy, but laying on the bed with the cat and reading or playing a video game.

  4. Sofia says:

I just love going on walks/ hikes with my little sister/best friend.

  5. giddypony says:

I have a “dance music” playlist on Spotify and I like dancing by myself to it.

  6. Kelsey says:

When I walk places, I like to pretend I have a portly pursuer and walk as fast as I possibly can. Other than that, I tend not to do the exercise thing.

  7. quidling says:

Swimming! Sorry, I can’t hear you, I’m in the water.

  8. Kristen Westfall says:

Yoga and meditation. I was a giant sceptic, but they have been transformational.

  9. Alex says:

For me there is nothing like Zumba to make me feel wonderful!! There is just something about being able to dance and not care who is watching that is such a stress reliever for me.

  10. OKCReader405 says:

20 lbs snuck up on my since retiring 3 years ago even though it seems like I’m more active than ever. I’m working on trimming that weight by visiting the gym 5 days a week. Thank God for audio books which makes the time fly. Horrible swimmer that I am I also enjoy my floundering in the gym pool while ignoring the looks from the real swimmers in the next lane. Yea for me!

  11. Meredith says:

I just got myself an indoor spinning bike! I realized it was my favorite activity at the gym, but it was hard to go to the gym, so I got it for the house.

  12. Emily says:

I like to take long walks and explore the city (either DC where I live or any city I’m visiting)!

  13. Nadine says:

My favorite fitness activity is walking with a friend or while listening to an audiobook if I am on my own.

  14. KP Dacey says:

My favorite wellness activity is gardening. It might seem not very active at first glance, but we have a good size yard with landscaping that I cannot keep free of weeds. A big plus this year is that my husband built me 2 stair stepped 4 x 4 planters for our veggies. Filling those suckers with dirt has been exhausting and sweaty work since he works all weekend. End result is awesome!

  15. Shellye77 says:

I have a pretty stressful job (time sensitive and deadlines come up fast and quick, and MATH!), and work downtown. So when I feel a I need a break and can get away, I walk around downtown. It’s OKC, so it’s not super busy, but they are revitalizing it and I like seeing all the new trees and sidewalks and buildings being renovated. I get fresh air and some exercise and can clear my head and feel like I can go back in and take on the world 🙂

  16. Martha Lawson says:

My favorite wellness activity is riding my exercise bike 3-4-times a week!

  17. Marlene Pressner says:

sad but true, the best exercise I get is the 3/4 mile walk from the train to the office each morning – I could take the bus, but starting the day with a walk gets me moving and starts the day off on a positive note.

  18. Katie says:

Yoga for me. I’ve been away from it far, FAR too long.

I actually tried running for a while and REALLY loved it (against my expectations). But the shin pain made me wimp out.

  19. TN says:

another dog walker, not sure who is walking whom, or who is benefiting most

  20. Cindy w says:

My favorites are my weekly yoga and a warm water exercise class. I’ve been doing both for a year and plan to continue.

  21. Ali Brown says:

Walking my dog on the off-leash dog beach in the mornings. The air is fresh, the view is uplifting, and it never fails to centre me for the day.

The bonus is the laughs I get watching my dog run and play. Here’s his song to the tune of Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star.

    Ringo, Ringo, Ringo Starr
What a lovely boy you are
Running round the beach so fast
    Playing chasey what a blast
    Ringo, Ringo, Ringo Starr
What a lucky boy you are.

  22. Mara says:

Sitting in silence!!! Preferably alone ha. I have five kids. If I don’t have some daily alone time then watch out

  23. Su says:

My favourite wellness activity is walking especially while listening to an audiobook

  24. Kate says:

I use cleaning the house top to bottom as my method of fitness! I love putting an audiobook on and listening to it wirelessly with my headphones while I vacuum, dust, mop, etc. it can be a great workout and it’s relaxing in a way too since I get to listen to my favorite books! 🙂

  25. Kristina says:

Early morning bike rides are my wellness jam

  26. Kitman says:

I used to do yoga pretty regularly, but stopped when I moved. Now that I see there’s a memorial day sale for a nearby yoga studio, I think I’ll go back to it! I love a more strenuous yoga class – with a focus on core strength. But hot yoga is not necessarily as I sweat enough anyway!

  27. Ulrike says:

Birding! Often, this involves hiking, but it can also mean sitting on my deck or in my car.

  28. Katie says:

I use cleaning the house top to bottom as my method of fitness! I love putting an audiobook on and listening to it wirelessly with my headphones while I vacuum, dust, mop, etc. it can be a great workout and it’s relaxing in a way too since I get to listen to my favorite books! 🙂

walking on the treadmill and doing the circuit at the gym.

I love running while listening to trashy audio books ;-)))

I run and bike but my favourite activity is walking the dog while listening to a good audiobook.

  36. Ellepkay says:

I have recently taken up yoga again – this time at home instead of a studio. After five years off and three small children I’m so happy to be carving out some time for me, even if it looks different than before.

  37. Gina Basso says:

I do a women only fitness class, which is fabulous and supportive.

  38. Linda N. says:

I love to go walking with my husband at our local park. It’s a great way to talk & catch up with one another while enjoying the outdoors & getting some much needed exercise.

  39. Vicki says:

My daughter is getting me into just dance. It’s fun and does wear me out, sooner than I would like.

  40. Gloriamarie says:

Right now my wellness activity is limited by lack of baklance and falling and going boom. To that end, Home Health is coming, setting me up with sets of PT exercises to do each day with the goal that I will no longer be housebound by problems with my legs.
