RECOMMENDED: A Perilous Undertaking by Deanna Raybourn is $2.99 as a KDD today! This is book two in the Veronica Speedwell series and I LOVE THIS SERIES. I’ve listened to it one after the other. I reviewed this one and gave it a B, and wrote, “the series is a sizable amount of fun if you like historical mysteries, fearless and intelligent heroines who take negative-zero crap from anyone, characters who embrace sarcasm, adventure and nefarious plotting, and taciturn but brilliant heroes with simmering sexual tension.”

Two Wrongs Make a Right is inspired, very loosely, by Much Ado About Nothing. It lacks most of the conflict of the play, but has its own charm. What you really need to know is that this is a cute book with neurodivergent characters and a fake-dating romance that is endearing if not fully believable.

Welcome back to Get Rec’d! I’ve been working upstairs in our children’s section at the bookstore lately, so my recs skew a bit more toward kiddos. Not a bad thing! I’ve also included a personal recommendation I gave to my mom the other day. What about you? Have you given or gotten any good recommendations?
RECOMMENDED: For the Love of April French by Penny Aimes is 99c! I didn’t review this one here, but I did for another site. I loved this one so much. It was so sweet and tender. I’d say this is more of a character-focused BDSM romance, than one that has a ton of BDSM scenes. I gave it a star over at Bookpage.
