The book is evocative, interesting, and full of competence porn, fashion, art, and intelligent people saying intelligent things. Anyone who doesn’t mind a slow pace will love this.
RECOMMENDED: The Courtesan Duchess by Joanna Shupe is $1.99! This is a historical romance where the couple is married, but estranged. This series has been favorably mentioned and reviewed on the site and I believe the next book (this is the first one) is also on sale!
A Wicked Kind of Husband by Mia Vincy is 99c at Amazon! It’s available elsewhere, but at $3.99! This features a married couple who wed out of convenience living two separate lives until they are forced back into each other’s proximity. I’ve heard really good things about this book and for a time, it was recommended a lot on social media.

For being superbly written, evocative, intellectually stimulating, risky in the way it presents two flawed main characters, and, last but not least, sexy as all heck, this book gets an A minus from me.
READER RECOMMENDED: The Gentleman’s Guide to Vice and Virtue by Mackenzi Lee is $2.99! I’ve lost count of the number of people who have enjoyed this book. We even ran a great guest review of it, where it earned an A- grade:
This book is touching, sexy, witty, and a fun adventure story. It would be an awesome beachside or poolside read. It takes its history seriously, but also lightly.
RECOMMENDED: His Until Midnight by Nikki Logan is $1.99! This is a contemporary category romance and, despite the jerkish hero, Elyse gave the book a B:
I read His Until Midnight over the course of one …um…extended…lunch hour because once I got into the book it kept pulling me along. The thing I liked most about this story was how unusual the structure was—80% of the book takes place over the space of one day—and how it really built momentum. Unfortunately, the hero really pissed me off at the end.
