Holiday Romances in March
The Dead Romantics by Ashley Poston is $4.99! I don’t believe we’ve ever had this one on sale before. Carrie reviewed this and gave it C, nothing that she was very confused by this one. Do you feel the same?

The Raven Spell by Luanne G. Smith is $1.99 at Amazon! This is book one in a series that seems to combine fantasy, mystery, and historical settings. It’s been on my TBR pile since it came out earlier this year.
Wolf Gone Wild by Juliette Cross is $1.49! This was mentioned on a previous Hide Your Wallet and I’ve personally enjoyed Cross’ fantasy and paranormal romances previously. This has a witch and a werewolf pairing and sounds a lot like me catnip.
Witches Get Stitches by Juliette Cross is $2.49 at Amazon! This is book three in the Stay a Spell series and book two is also in sale. I feel like if you want fun, small town romance with a quirk paranormal feel, this could tick all of those boxes.
RECOMMENDED: The Devil Comes Courting by Courtney Milan is $2.49! Catherine gave this one an A:
It is a book about the delight of discovery: of new things, of one’s own capabilities, of love, of things that were thought lost. It’s a book that addresses serious topics seriously, but it is also a book that sparkles.
I have a real weak spot for sexy vampires. I also have one for fantasy romance, and another one for romance series where each book is about a different couple but there’s a connected plot arc throughout. So I had high hopes for The Black Lily, the first book in a fairy-tale retelling vampire romance series about humans rebelling against corrupt vampire overlords. Unfortunately, my ultimate reaction was pretty mixed and I have not yet … Continue reading The Black Lily by Juliette Cross
RECOMMENDED: The Black Lily by Juliette Cross is 99c! Despite the nips-on-display cover, I really enjoyed this book. Vampires are the ruling class and the heroine is the leader of a human uprising. She first meets the vampire prince hero when she infiltrates a masked ball and tries to assassinate him. It’s Cinderella-esque and the rest of the series has fairy tale influences. You can grab all the books in the series for less than $7!
It’s our first Cover Awe in January! This is where we discuss beautiful covers we’ve seen and open up discussions on elements we like versus what doesn’t really work for us on book covers. Amanda: I need to go a major career change so I can become the NHL commissioner and change the rules of hockey to allow for shirtless skating. Elyse: Well hello, sir. Sarah: Those blades are awful sharp. Says the mom. Amanda: … Continue reading Cover Awe: Warm Colors, Eyepatches, & More
