I remember reading this one and I loved that the heroine owns a wine store. However, some readers felt that the characters weren’t as engaging as in other James’ books.

Slightly Married by Mary Balogh is $2.99! This is the first book in the Bedwyn Saga, which is a favorite amongst romance readers. Seriously, I get some many requests on Instagram for similar books to this series. Have you read this one?
Suddenly One Summer by Julie James is $1.99! James is a contemporary romance favorite around here. Readers warn that though they loved the ending, they warn it’s not your typical romantic way to end a story (no clue what this means, but saw several people commenting on it). Many also loved the heroine. It has a 3.8-star rating on Goodreads.
Hot and Badgered by Shelly Laurenston is $2.99! This is the first book in the Honey Badger Chronicles. Sarah read this one and gave it a B grade:
Among my favorite things about Laurenston’s writing is how very affirming and inspiring and a whole lot of fun it is, because angry, fearless women make room for themselves, they get shit done, and they’re the heroines. More honey badgers, please.
