Links: Jimothy, Widow’s Bay, & More

An illustrated image of a desk space with a computer, stack of books, reading glasses, and a mug.Welcome back!

We just got off the waitlist for our local farm share. Honestly, it couldn’t have come at a better time with this diarrhea parasite running around. We pick up our first share today and I’m honestly really excited. We’re doing fruit, veg, eggs, and local cheese.

Aside from that, we just started baby shower planning. We’re hoping to make it pretty casual. No games. No sitting in a big circle while people watch me open gifts. Just come and say hello. We didn’t have a housewarming or wedding celebration, so we wanted to make it more of a catch all. However, we are a little intimidated by the preliminary invite list, despite knowing several people probably won’t attend (due to being out of state but still wanting to support via the registry like my brother and sister in law).

This link was sent in by EC Spurlock about the lives of princesses in ancient Egypt.

If you’re like me and loved watching Widow’s Bay, here are some backlist reading recs for you!

Like most of the world, I am obsessed with Jimothy.

If you like your leading men historical and soggy, this is for you:
