Hex Appeal by Kate Johnson is 99c! This is book one in the Best Hex Ever series and has a witchy heroine and a small town setting.
Encanto meets Hocus Pocus in this perfect witchy romcom. An absolute must-read if you love Erin Sterling’s The Ex Hex and Lana Harper’s Payback’s a Witch!

I loved Hex Appeal, but opinions on it were mixed. The plot was a bit chaotic and the romance wasn’t the main focus but I had so much fun reading it. The witchy vibe was there, including a quirky, half-sentient house and a magical conservatory, the found family was great, and it was all around a fun autumn read.
I also enjoyed The Starter Ex although there is deception at the heart of the story, so YMMV. I think it didn’t bother me in this book the way it usually does because both MCs were keeping secrets so it didn’t feel unbalanced.
