If you’ve got car rides, long commutes, or a list of chores to do, we’ve gathered some of our all-time-favorite audiobooks, including romance, mystery, and some nonfiction. We picked the first books from some outstanding series, some nonfiction that will truly fascinate you, and some that are just extremely fun.

Ooooh, hard choice! But I’ve been wanting to read Entangled Life for ages. And I listen when I walk or when I’m doing housework or, if I’m in the car alone, when I’m doing errands. I put a lot of books and podcasts into my brain through my ears!
Murder by Memory, and I would listen in my backyard while I relax in the shade.
Probably Act Like It. It’s one of my all time favorite books. I’d listen outside on a nice walk.
Smoke Gets In Your Eyes by Caitlin Doughty; it’s been on ny TBR forever and my brain does better with nonfic as an audiobook, so win-win!
Midnight Riot/Rivers of London, because it’s been on my tbr for ages. I would listen while cleaning, because I have a lot of cleaning that needs to be done.
I love Libro.fm and I’m excited to see them plugged here! (I support my local romance bookstore, which is lovely.) The playlist looks pretty good to me, though I haven’t read much on it (I loved Clap When You Land, Ship Wrecked, and Earl Crush, though).
We Are Never Meeting in Real Life by Samantha Irby. I’d be listening while doing dishes!

Act Like It or Hotel of Secrets. I would listen when I walk.
Three Dahlias would be my pick. I would listen while lounging fabulously on a deck chair, drinking gin and tonics
I would do the Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo, because I’ve heard a lot about it but still haven’t read it. I typically do my audiobooks while I’m driving, but I’m also off work over the summer, so I can listen while knitting as well!
Ooh Entangled Life or Murder by Memory for me, though I love how much of the list I’ve read already! I usually listen while doing chores or riding my exercise bike.

I’d love to have “Midnight Riot” by Ben Aaronivitch. I love his novels! I’ve read this before, and I can imagine many more listens.
I listen while cooking, baking, and in the car. I work as a field representative for the US Census, and hence drive around a lot. Audiobooks are the best!
I’d probably go for Wicked Intentions, because I love Elizabeth Hoyt. Then again, Entangled Life sounds fascinating…hmm!
I love Libro.fm – they’re such a good alternative to you-know-who, and I appreciate that their audiobooks are DRM-free so you actually own what you buy.
I’ve heard good things about Sleeping Giants so I’d like to try that in audio. While knitting (ideally something simple so I can concentrate!) is always a good time 🙂
Ship Wrecked by Olivia Dade will get me through my commute in HOTlanta!

I’d listen to Murder by Memory while murdering some weeds in my garden.
Definitely Entangled Life to listen to whilst watching the oak trees through my bay window.

The Three Dahlias while bathing, cleaning and relaxing with my dogs and a good cuppa.
Dukes Prefer Blondes by Loretta Chase. And hopefully finishing off one of the two quilts or three cross stitches I have half finished!
Ooh, Dukes Prefer Blondes for sure. Loretta Chase and Kate Reading is a deadly combination. I would either be driving or weeding (my stress-reduction activity) while listening.
