If you’re curious about your own habit formation, what motivates you, and how to work with your own tendency, you should definitely take the quiz and check out the book. It would likely be an insightful read.
In this groundbreaking analysis of personality type, bestselling author of Better Than Before and The Happiness Project Gretchen Rubin reveals the one simple question that will transform what you do at home, at work, and in life.
During her multibook investigation into understanding human nature, Gretchen Rubin realized that by asking the seemingly dry question “How do I respond to expectations?” we gain explosive self-knowledge. It’s Only a Scandal if You’re Caught
It’s Only a Scandal if You’re Caught by Merry Farmer is 99c! This is the second book in the May Flowers series, and we featured the first book on sale this year. Looking at the cover is giving me some major back pain. Anyone else?
Lady Bianca Marlowe has a reputation for being beautiful, bold, and bad. She shocks the delicate matrons of London society at balls and tea parties with her outspoken opinions and turns the head of every red-blooded male in London with her daring fashion choices and flirtatious ways. When she is admitted into the prestigious May Flowers ladies’ political society, it seems as though no one will be safe from her audacity. There is only one man who can tame her wild ways.
Jack Craig’s climb up from his birth in a brothel in Seven Dials to become a Chief Inspector at Scotland Yard was a long and arduous one, but after a series of high-profile arrests, his reputation as one of London’s most powerful law enforcement officers is firmly established. His advancement within the Metropolitan Police, and even a knighthood, seem inevitable. Jack has just one weakness—his passion for Lady Bianca.
Their attachment is as unsuitable as it is fiery, and neither are willing to listen to reason and stay away from each other. Especially once Bianca helps Jack uncover a plot to attack the Houses of Parliament that would make Guy Fawkes look like an amateur. But when the inevitable results of their affair turn them both into social outcasts and pit them against each other, they must either discover the true love that has burned beneath their passion or risk an explosion that could put more than their own lives at risk.
Attracting Aubrey by Avery Flynn is 99c at most vendors and free at Kobo! This is part of a contemporary romance series, where each installment is written by a different author. The hero is a major celebrity trying to lay low on a cruise ship.
I never dreamed I’d meet my celebrity crush while stealing every single pair of my best friend’s pants.
Trust me, my life is not that wild. In fact, the most excitement I usually get is running my fan-favorite Insta thirst account featuring butt-tastic pics of Hollywood superhero Carter Hayes. So, imagine my shock when, in the middle of the cruise ship hallway, I realize the guy whose shirt I’m stuffing slacks inside of is Carter disguised as a tourist. How I manage not to faint dead away, I’ve got no clue.
When word leaks that Carter might be on board, he asks me to help him maintain his cover. There’s no way I’m gonna say no to that. I just don’t share that I’m the anonymous woman behind the fan account that reported sighting him onboard. No biggie. Right?
However, when things between us go from friendly to hot to OMG-I-can’t-keep-my-clothes-on-around-him, all I can do is hope he never discovers my secret. You see, somewhere along the way, Carter went from an untouchable movie star to the man I’m falling for.
Wilder by Rebecca Yarros is 3.99! I was really excited about this book during a previous Hide Your Wallet. It has a 4.1-star rating on Goodreads, and readers loved the slow burn of the romance. However, some felt the quick read was a bit slow at times. All three books in this series are priced at $3.99 and the third book features a heroine who is an extreme sports athlete!
He’s Paxton Wilder.
Twenty-two-year-old, tattooed, smoking-hot leader of the Renegades.
Five time X Games medalist.
The world is his playground—especially this year—and for the next nine months I’m stuck as his tutor on the Study at Sea program.
He’s too busy staging worldwide stunts for his documentary to get to class.
But if I can’t get him to take academics seriously, I’ll lose my scholarship…if I don’t lose my heart first.
Six unlikely friends on a nine-month cruise with the Study at Sea program will learn that chemistry is more than a subject and the best lessons aren’t taught in the classroom…but in the heart.
