Virtual Romance Events, July and Beyond!

I’ve been doing some posts about romance gatherings in various locations,  but clearly, that was in the Before Times. During the Quarantimes, we do all the things virtually!  Earbuds, cocktails, and comfy pants (look, let’s be real, pants are very optional in this scenario.)

I’ve got a whole bunch of events to tell you about online, and I’m going to list them chronologically. Put them in your calendars and check the cabinets for snacks and drinks, because there are several opportunities ahoy to gather with your fellow romance fans online!

Please join us for a night of conversation with debut novelist, Maggie Tokuda-Hall, with our excellent bookseller, Amanda!  Update! Amanda had a family emergency, so I (Sarah) will be hosting this event!

This event will be held on Crowdcast. Register here. Please consider making a donation to Read It Forward when you register.

The Mermaid, the Witch, and the Sea is part of Belmont Books’ Read It Forward book donation program, which provides new books to families in need through school and community programs in Belmont, Arlington, Watertown, and Waltham. Many thanks to Somerville-based Candlewick Press for its support.

Ed note: “excellent bookseller Amanda” is the same person as OUR Amanda here at SBTB, and she is indeed excellent. Also, Maggie Tokuda-Hall was a guest on a recent podcast, and she’s terrific fun to listen to!
