RWA One Month Later: A Special Podcast Series

This week’s podcast episode will be the first of a four-episode series on RWA: One Month Later.

It’s been just over a month since Romance Writers of America informed Courtney Milan on 23 December 2019 that due to an ethics complaint, she was barred from leadership for her lifetime, and was suspended for a year. That decision was then rescinded, and, well, a lot has happened in a month.

I wanted to create an audio record of sorts to capture where we are now, and most importantly, featured the voices and perspectives of some of those who were involved.

RWA One Month later a special four episode series Jan 31 the officers of CIMRWA, Feb 1 Helenkay Dimon, past president, Feb 2 Jessie Edwards, Marketing and PR for RWA, and Feb 3 Courtney Milan

Because of the timeliness of these episodes, I’m doing a special miniseries and releasing all four back to back.

You can listen to each episode here at the site in our Podcasts section, or you can subscribe to Smart Podcast, Trashy Books at Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Stitcher, or wherever you catch your podcasts.

Thank you to our podcast Patreon community, whose support will make transcripts of this special series possible, and make sure that each episode is accessible to everyone.

I hope this special series is interesting and thought-provoking, and that you’ll let me know what you think.

You are amazing, Sarah. I’ve been patiently waiting for the podcast on this topic because I knew that you would do it justice. I see that you have by giving us four podcasts with people integral to the situation. Thank you for your work.
