We’re starting a new quarterly feature for the podcast and I’m very excited about it!
We are going to do a quarterly book club – the Smart Podcast Trashy BookClub – wherein we here at Bitchery HQ will read the same book, and then record an episode discussing it. Woo hoo! As with every podcast episode, there will be a transcript so you can read along if you like. (Thanks, Garlic Knitter!)
And here’s the funner part: we’ll be asking the Podcast Patreon community to suggest books for us to read.
Each quarter I’ll post a form for the Patreon community asking for suggestions, and we’ll select one from the submissions list.The suggestions we’ve received already are terrific, and I’m looking forward to seeing more.
So if you’d like to join the Patreon and suggest what we should read for the book club each quarter, have a look. The form is open to all tiers of the Patreon community. I’m aiming for the first episode to air toward the end of March, and each quarter after that.
