It made me duck out on the coworker I was traveling with: “I’d love to go to TGI Fridays with you, but PJ and Asa have a new leather cane they’ve been dying to try out and also I need to know how his weenus piercing feels without a condom, so I’m gonna just head up to my room, ‘kay, thanks.”
The Nothing Girl by Jodi Taylor is 99c! This is book one in the Frogmorton Farm series and it’s giving me British chick lit with light magical elements vibes. Have any of you read this one?
Act Your Age, Eve Brown by Talia Hibbert is $1.99! It’s the third book in The Brown Sisters series, which we’ve all enjoyed at the site. Do you have a favorite of the three? Mine might be Take a Hint, Dani Brown.
How the Word is Passed by Clint Smith is $4.99! This is a Kindle Daily Deal, a newish release, and was mentioned either on Hide Your Wallet or Whatcha Reading. This isn’t a bad price for a current bestseller, especially if you don’t want to pay full hardcover price or wait for a library hold to come in.
Pastry Love by Joanne Chang is $4.99 and a Kindle Daily Deal! This is Chang’s latest baking book and we’ve featured her Flour collection on here a few times. If you’re in the Boston/New England area, you may already be fans. I know both Shana and I are!
