It’s a series with at least three books and it’s from the early 2000s. The cover was green with a Celtic cross.
The male lead is a cop in Boston. He drinks blood, but can walk in the sun and has no problems with holy water. He isn’t technically a vampire. He was born with a birthmark that denotes what he is and that he has two dicks, but they only work for the heroine.
The heroine is a teacher who moved with her two siblings that she was raising while mom partied. She stole mom’s money to move from New Mexico to the East Coast area. Grandma got custody of the kids from her daughter and runs a boarding house that everyone’s staying in.
It’s really driving me crazy. What is the name and author of this book? Please help.

My jaw kept dropping as I read this one; I am parked and seated.
It kind of sounds like Tall, Dark & Lonely by R.L. Mathewson, but some of the particulars don’t line up. Specifically, the double-D. If it’s not the one you’re looking for, check it out anyhow. I’m definitely a fan of the author/series.

OK this kind of slightly sounds like the Kara Gillian series by Diana Rowland, and the cover of book 1 IS green with some symbols that might be interpreted as a Celtic cross, but there is a lot about the description that doesn’t quite match up. I am intrigued though….
Probably not the book, but years ago, there was an anthology, The Mammoth Book of Irish Romance, and it had a lot of shifters and other magical stuff, but no Celtic Cross on the cover. There was a Scottish version, too. I have them in ebook. There were a few other Mammoth books in the series.

The Kara Gillian series looks amazing whether it fits or not. Adding to my TBR list.
