It’s Friday!
WOOT.
What are you up to this weekend? Have you noticed the way the light has changed since mid July? I really notice the seasons making a big fast change in August, and then in November.
Not looking forward to November. Let’s chill in August for awhile. Or chill as much as we are able because holy crapcakes it’s hot and humid. There have been days I’ve gone for a walk and had to change my entire clothing assemblage afterward. Dampness is one of the most underrated of the -nesses, right after clamminess and stickiness.
This week, I have a 15 year old video that makes me laugh and I’ve probably seen it forty or fifty times. It’s time for…“Patty Cake!”
Do your pets “talk?” We have full conversations and debates with ours, but they’re both seniors so I feel like I do know their personalities enough to accurately give them dialogue, but then again, I could be entirely wrong and both my cats sound like The Brain from “Pinky & the Brain.”
I mean, they are trying to take over the world. Starting with attempts at controlling food times. Loudly.
Friday Videos hope your weekend is a high five in all the nicest ways!
All of my dogs have and do talk, although being mostly German Shepherds they also ‘talk’ as in make a variety of noises to comment on what is going on in the household, the breed is well known for it’s vocalisations. Having said that the springer spaniel was the loudest, she would warble to encourage you to make her meals faster. But they all also have their opinions on the comings and goings of the household, the political arena, songs, what they thought about any visitors, you name it they’ve probably commented on it.
My family loved “Pinky & the Brain”! Our female cat didn’t vocalize much, but she was clearly the Brain and her brother, who vocalized a lot, was Pinky. He didn’t want to take over the world, he just wanted you to scratch under his chin.
That was very fun! First time I saw that one.
I have seen this one years ago, completely forgot the dialogue so it made me belly laugh all over again. Those voiceover guys could easily be my younger coworkers Chad and Justin after a couple of beers.
My current clowder consists of two sisters who are part Siamese. One vocalizes constantly. I think she just likes to hear herself talk. The other doesn’t have too much to say — she’s the thinker of the two. They also have a half-brother yellow tabby, who’s named Yeller, not for his color, but because he yells ALL THE TIME.
Hysterical. Good to laugh these days.
