Links: Dolly Parton, Kitchen Goods, & More

Workspace with computer, journal, books, coffee, and glasses.Hey all! A nice little short and sweet Links post for your mid-week blues!

I had a lot of social activities last weekend. Lots of one on ones, meeting new people. It’s exhausting! I’m also attending a wedding this weekend. My battery is running low and I feel like I will probably crash when it’s all over.

I’m an introvert in the sense that socializing really drains me and I need to recharge. Anyone else feel the same?

On the plus side, I’m starting to feel some cooler temps. My beloved fall is on its way!

Le Creuset is fine wreaking havoc on everyone’s wallets with this autumn collection. Bat stockpots and pumpkin cocottes!

Enjoy the adorable goodness of Dolly Parton starting a dog apparel line called Doggy Parton.

Curious about which beautiful bookstores are the most instagrammed? I definitely knew a few would be on the list! See the top 15 here!

Lastly, have some cuteness. You deserve it.

Don’t forget to share what cool or interesting things you’ve seen, read, or listened to this week! And if you have anything you think we’d like to post on a future Wednesday Links, send it my way!

I smelled fall in the air today, the rainy day variety.
Autumn always puts going to the beach in my mind and seeing those epic instagramed shops makes me want to rec the account of my favorite humble indie beachside bookstore: @browseaboutbooks (They’re a sweet little place in Rehoboth, DE (known for rainbow flags and the president liking to vacation there.) I haven’t been able to visit since the pandemic so seeing posts with new titles, book signings, local puzzles, and so many sweet doggos gives me a little joy.)

I just got my Dolly Parton baking kit from Duncan Hines today! I LOVE HER! I checked out her pet stuff a few days ago, I think my dogs need some kerchiefs to liven up their style.

Does anyone use Nordic Ware? They have an awesome fall line, I have several of their products and love them. They are really high quality, made in Minnesota I believe. I like to read the reviews, and people talk about having them for years, or ones they inherited from family. It’s really sweet.

I got my Dolly baking kit two weeks ago! I waited six months for it to come back in stock.

@AtasB Brouseabout has a new anthology releasing in a few months, and there will be a book signing at the Lewes Library on Dec. 4, 2-4pm. The authors are regional and all the books in the anthology have a holiday theme–many holidays are represented, not just December holidays.

That adorable Native baby was the sweetest thing I’ve seen all day, especially the way the other dancers made sure he was included.

I’m going to a writing retreat this weekend, and while I’m greatly looking forward to seeing friends and meeting some new people, I’ll prep by seeing no one other than my husband between now and Thursday, and when I get back on Sunday I probably won’t want to see anyone for the next week.

Also, yay for autumn! Here in New Mexico it’s still getting into the 90s some days, but at least it’s the low 90s.
