Blood of the Earth by Faith Hunter is $1.99 and part of today’s Kindle Daily Deals! This urban fantasy novel is the first in the Soulwood series, which seems to be a spin-off of Hunter’s Jane Yellowrock series. It was also recommended during our SBTB Reader Recommendation Party at RT 2017. I remember because I immediately added it to be TBR pile.

Again the Magic by Lisa Kleypas is $1.99! This is listed as book .5 of the much loved Wallflowers series. Some readers adored the betrayal/redemption storyline, while others were frustrated at the heroine for keeping secrets for so long. Have you read it?

All of Me by Jennifer Bernard is $2.99! There are a ton of contemporaries by Bernard on sale. All of Me, is the first book in a new series featuring baseball players. Catnip for anyone who loves sports contemporaries. Readers liked how the couple seemed to be equals, though some felt the book ran a little long. Has anyone read this one?

Again The Magic by Lisa Kleypas is so worth the read. This book is very emotional and John and Aline do belong together and her reasoning for them not being together is very true to her and the decision she made to send John away from her. I read this at least once a year. Very entertaining book.
I highly recommend the Soulwood series. The MC, Nell, was raised in an extremely conservative religious commune. A big part of the series explores what it’s like for her to regain her own autonomy and overcome the programming she was raised with while still maintaining a relationship with her family and figuring out the extent of her paranormal powers. She’s a wonderful lead character, smart, mature, and determined but also compassionate, and has a great relationship with the team member who ultimately becomes her love interest. Although this series is a spin-off from Jane Yellowrock, I haven’t read that and although I know I’m missing some backstory, I’ve never felt lost.
I haven’t read the Bernard and I am Intrigued. Hmm.
Again The Magic— reading the synopsis made eyes leak. It’s a favorite.
Side note about Again the Magic: her depiction of burn injury was accurate. I was so impressed.
I want Again the Magic, but it is not on sale at B&N… **pouts**
