Lyon’s Bride by Cathy Maxwell is $1.99 at most vendors! This is a historical romance with a teeny touch of fantasy thrown in as the hero believes to be cursed. He can’t fall in love. The heroine, a longtime friend, offers to play matchmaker, despite their very obvious feelings for one another. Some readers wished there was more action to the plot, while others loved the second chance romance between the hero and heroine.

Highland Guard by Hannah Howell is $1.99! This is the twentieth (wow!) book in Howell’s Murray Family series. I’m not sure if these books can be read as a standalone, so maybe someone from the Bitchery can comment on that. Readers mentioned this book has some pacing issues, but really loved the characters. It has a 4.1-star rating on Goodreads.

An Offer From a Gentleman by Julia Quinn is $1.99! Now, I believe this is the full edition of the book with the second epilogue. This also has some heavy Cinderella vibes if you like your romances inspired by fairy tales. This is the third book in the Bridgertons series, which has been highly recommended around the site. However, others felt this book didn’t live up to the quality they found in the first two. Have you read this one?
