Every time I remember an old video I’d like to add to my list of potential Friday Videos, I look at how long ago it was posted and I feel truly ancient.

The cosmos is also within us. We are a way for the cosmos to know itself.
And because I’m always Mr. Rogers’ loudest fan: “Garden of Your Mind” featuring Fred Rogers.

The first Kickstarter I backed was for Boswell’s album Terra Lumina!
Why don’t we have these thinking and imagining programs anymore? Mr. Rogers was a secular saint. I miss him.
Astrophysicists who can communicate to expand your thoughts and spark your imagination. We desperately need more of this–less explosions, car chases, fist fights. What a nice upbeat post today. I’m going to bookmark these and listen again and again when I feel depressed about current affairs.
Symphony of science gave me chills and brought me way back. Thank you.
Relatedly, I’ve been wanting to reread “An Immense World: How Animal Senses Reveal the Hidden Worlds Around Us” and the (updated in 2025!!) “A Short History of Nearly Everything,” both of which give jaw-dropping science facts on every page.
