Welcome back to Hide Your Wallet! We’re doing these things weekly now to stay on top of new releases and hopefully provide even more coverage of more books. This time, we have some a holiday romance, a spicy series continuation, a sapphic foodie romance set on a reality show, and more! This might be the lightest release week for us at SBTB HQ, so get ready for some packed Hide Your Wallets ahead. Which books … Continue reading Hide Your Wallet: October 10th Release Week→
Whether you’re riding out the last days of warmth or jumping straight into curling up under a cozy blanket, there’s no greater September accessory than a great romance novel, and this month runneth over with excellent queer options. Treat yourself!
The Admiral’s Penniless Bride by Carla Kelly is $1.99! Some readers on GR really liked the older hero/younger heroine pairing, and the consideration of the hero in particular.
Sarah: Kelly’s books are a unique kind of historical, and they’re wonderfully immersive. SLURP into the book you go.
Half a Soul by Olivia Atwater is $2.99! This is book one in the Regency Faerie Tales series and subsequent books in the series were listed in latest Hide Your Wallet. There’s another YA vs. Adult debate for this one as well. I believe there is no sexual content in this one.
The Jasmine Throne by Tasha Suri is $2.99! This is Suri’s latest series and many of us were big fans of her debut fantasy romance Empire of Sand. I’m hoping this has the same balance of fantasy and romance.
If you’re new to Hide Your Wallet, this is where we list new releases we’re pretty excited for in the coming month. Each reviewer has a book maximum (five per person), and we’ve separated HYW into two parts. The first HYW of the month will cover books that release from the 1st to the 14th. The second HYW will cover books released from the 15th to the end of the month. We also think this … Continue reading November 2022 New Releases, Part Two→

Incense and Sensibility by Sonali Dev is $1.99! Not sure if we’ve featured this one on sale before. It’s book three in Dev’s Rajes series, which is full of Jane Austen retellings.
Something Fabulous by Alexis Hall is $1.99! Of course, we’re big fans of Alexis Hall at the Bitchery and this is a rompy, road trip adventure. It came out in January. Did any of you pick this one up?
In fact, Who’s That Earl manages the feat of being low-tension and low-conflict while still having plenty of story and heart to keep you reading. If you are looking for something to read that is charming and relaxing and fun and won’t stress you out too much, this is the book for you.
I cannot emphasize enough how hungry this book will make you.
Accidentally Engaged might be my top pick for “don’t read while hungry.” Between our heroine Reena’s bread baking (there’s rye, there’s challah, there’s an ongoing battle with a sourdough starter) and her Indian and East African cooking, I was craving a feast pretty much the whole time I was reading this book.
