Readers who love thoughtful, specific worldbuilding and very thoughtful characters who slowly fall for one another will likely enjoy this book, though be warned that the tension and pace felt uneven and may require some reader perseverance.

Empire of Sand by Tasha Suri is $2.99! This is an adult fantasy novel with some romantic elements. Though this is marketed as adult fantasy, some readers it felt like it was more YA. Empire of Sand has been on my TBR pile for a while; have you read this one? Aarya highly recommends it.
Pas de Don’t by Chloe Angyal is $2.99! This is a ballet romance and Elyse mentioned it on a previous Hide Your Wallet. I think we initially labeled this one as New Adult, but if you’ve read it, let me know if that’s accurate.
